Donating Materials

Thank you for your interest in donating to Houston Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Your contributions are welcome . . . and needed. We accept new and gently used building materials of all types from builders and businesses as well as from individual citizens of Houston.  However, because we are a resale store, we must be strict about our acceptance guidlines.  The ReStore has limited resources and storage capacity and may be unable to receive overstocked items. Please call about the acceptability of an item.

The ReStore is located at 6161 South Loop East at South Wayside Drive.  To make a donation, drop it by the store. The ReStore is open Monday thru Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.  We do offer residental pick ups for larger loads (those unable to fit in a SUV or Pick up truck). Neighborhood donations of multiple homes are encouraged in an effort to conserve resources.  All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Receipt for donationss is provided for tax purposes.

Donated items are resold in the ReStore to the public where the profits from the proceeds aid in financing to build simple, safe, decent homes for working Houston families.

If you have any questions, please call 713-643-1100.
