2020 Women Build

On Friday, May 8, 2020, Houston Habitat will host a local Women Build event, building a new home in northeast Houston. This house will be a much-needed home for a Houston family that needs secure, affordable housing.

Though our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, they are also the populations most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Women Build events provide the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.

Women (and some men) who want to learn how to build and construct a home are invited to join. No experience is necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals and future Houston Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply giving back to the community through volunteerism, this is a rewarding experience for all involved and improves the community.

Sponsorship Levels

$15,000 – Up to 25 volunteers on an exclusive build site, logo recognition, logo on t-shirt, featured in social media, E-news mention, included in the media release

$5,000 – Up to 10 volunteers, name recognition, logo on t-shirt, included in the media release

$2,500 – Up to 6 volunteers, name recognition, company name on t-shirt
