When you hear the name Habitat for Humanity, you may think of volunteering to build a home. We always need volunteers to help. We have volunteer opportunities to build with us, work in our ReStores and serve at a community garden.

No experience is needed! Our skilled construction staff, retail team and garden leaders will show you how to do the work. If you are interested in volunteering, we recommend signing up to be notified of volunteer opportunities through our VolunteerHub.

Shop at our ReStore locations. You never know what you will find! The ReStores are our retail stores that sell new and gently used home improvement goods, home decor, furniture, appliances and more. All proceeds from the store go toward Houston Habitat’s programs to build and improve the places Houstonians call home.

If you are renovating, cleaning out your home or buying new furniture, DONATE your items to the ReStore. You can schedule a donation pick-up online and will receive a tax receipt.

Do you have a business with excess inventory? Consider donating the overstock to the ReStore. Contact us at 713-643-1100 to discuss making a donation of goods.

Due to the winter storm, the Houston Habitat for Humanity office and ReStores will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, and Wednesday, January 22, 2025. We plan to resume operations on Thursday, January 23. Stay safe and warm!
