Houston Habitat is very proud to partner with other Habitat affiliates around the world. Houston Habitat has contributed more than a million dollars to international affiliates including Haiti, Nepal, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
Believing that we are all part of a Global Village, Houston Habitat also supports the work of Habitat affiliates around the world by leading groups of volunteers on weeklong mission trips to build homes, communities and hope. Our tools are shovels, picks, pliers, our backs and our bare hands – no hammers! We also take the time to explore the country and its culture like locals, with locals.
