The Houston Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a home improvement resale store where items are sold at greatly reduced prices.  It is open to the public and sells both new and like-new materials.  Proceeds from sales supports the mission of Houston Habitat for Humanity.

Inventory changes often as the ReStore is primarily donation driven.

Your donation is two fold - not only do your contributions ease costs for shoppers at the ReStore, but  also they serve as a recycling alternative.

The ReStore does provide pick up services for larger loads when picking up in the area.  In order to maintain cost efficiency, you are asked to please bring items that would fit in a car, SUV or pick up truck.  A suggestion is to coordinate neighborhood pick ups for multiple households within your area and help conserve resources and fuel.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Donations

Your contributions are welcome…and needed.  The ReStore accepts new and gently used building materials of all types from builders and businesses as well as from individuals. However, as a re-sale store, acceptance guidelines are strict.  Due to limited resources and storage capacity, at times the ReStore may be unable to receive overstocked items.  Please call if you are unsure about the acceptability of an item.

The ReStore is located at 6161 South Loop East at South Wayside Drive.  To make a donation, drop it by the store which is open Monday thru Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM.  

All donations to Houston Habitat for Humanity ReStore are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

What we stock

The ReStore accepts new and gently used building materials. Items are sold at deep discounts-often 40-60% less than retail!  Some items are liquidated or overstocked material and these quality goods are offered to the public at discounted prices.  Shop frequently to discover incredible deals!
