Houston Habitat for Humanity is seeking a dynamic, creative, and people-loving Special Events Manager to bring our mission to life through unforgettable experiences.
From joyful home dedications to inspiring donor receptions and high-energy volunteer and staff events, this role is all about creating moments that connect people to purpose. The Special Events Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of events that celebrate homeowners, engage supporters, celebrate Houston Habitat staff, and fuel philanthropic growth all while showcasing the heart of Houston Habitat.
The Home Warranty and Services’ goal is to be courteous, prompt, efficient, and honest with all our homeowners in an effort to provide total satisfaction on warranty requests. The Warranty & Construction Lead will use exceptional communication skills with our homeowners to ensure and maintain homeowner satisfaction. This position assists the Construction department in all aspects of construction activity and volunteer management.
The ReStore Donation Ambassador is responsible for retrieving donations from residential and corporate donors during ReStore operating hours driving our Affiliate vehicles. This role's primary responsibility will be to serve as an ambassador for the Houston Habitat for Humanity Mission. This includes building customer and donor relationships by providing friendly and prompt service. In addition, stocking merchandise, pricing items to sell and keeping the store clean daily. Other duties such as event support and brand awareness via our social media platforms and online store task will be on an as-need basis. Ambassador hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm. Special events hours will vary based on event needs.
